Misty D. Blotter

Our community lost a bright light on May 21, 2026, when Misty D. Blotter passed away. Misty lived a full life as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and friend to all. She had the kindest heart and loved helping people. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing pickleball. 

Misty was born to Colleen and Ford Hammerland on January 23, 1978, in Preston, Idaho and graduated from Soda Springs High School. Shortly after graduating, she met the love of her life Jason Blotter. They married in 1998 and had two children together, Tanner and Mikayla. Misty and Jason built their forever home in Cub River. Misty adored her family, the Blotters, and gained two amazing sisters and parents when she married Jason. She was also loved by her many aunts and uncles. 

Misty enjoyed helping people find their dream homes and made many lifelong friendships doing it. She lit up every room and was a friend to everyone. Misty will forever be loved and missed by all. She was proceeded in death by her mother Colleen Hammerland, her father Ford Hammerland and mother and father in law, Dianne and Jay Blotter. She is survived by her husband Jason Blotter, her son Tanner Blotter and her daughter Mikayla Blotter.
