Keith Budge Zoom Funeral Service

Keith Stayner Budge, 71, devote husband and loving father, passed away Friday August 7th, 2026. Keith battled with chronic phantom pain as a result of a work injury 25 years prior, along with Lewy Body Dementia and Alzheimer’s in his last few years.

Born in Smithfield, Utah to June Stayner and Robert Sutton Budge, he was the 7th of eight children. He often spoke lovingly of his nanny Anna Mather. Keith married Bonnie LaRue Cole in the Logan Utah Temple March 6, 1980. Keith is survived by his wife, and children Bracken Berger, (Ally Graham), Andrew Keith Budge (Anna Marie), Amber Nelson (Brett), Stacey McMullin (Don), and grandchildren Charlotte, Corey, Lucy, Theo, and Cooper along with bonus grandchildren Willow and Livy. Preceded in death by his eldest brother Robert Cort Budge.

Always hardworking, supportive and fun, friend to all, Keith was self reliant, assertive and strong but sure knew how to have a good time. He had a way of leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. As a master tinkerer he could fix a dishwasher, lawnmower or diagnose a car problem in no time. Keith had many hobbies but goose hunting was a passion for him.

With his willingness to “pitch in and help attitude” he would give you the shirt off his back. You would often find him serving the community in some way or another. A comforting word, planning a parade or organizing service projects for widows in the neighborhood. Scouts and coaching kids in their sports or playing “Joe photo” for all the teams and events would be a common place to find him. He served an LDS mission in Indiana and in many other church callings.

Friends and family knew Keith was a kid at heart, practical joker even, and loved to give people a thrill especially at Halloween. He spent much of his career with Nucor Steel. His work ethic was something he has passed on to each of his children. Keith attend Sky View High where he participated in the Front Porch Majority song and dance club and attended Utah State. Even though he lived with chronic pain he rarely complained and was always ready to share a bowl of ice cream with his loved ones.
