Horace Lynn Turner, Age 83, of Logan, Utah, passed away on October 29th, 2025 of natural causes with his sister, Vicki Jo Roberts at his side.
Lynn was born December 3, 1941 in Lewiston, Utah, the son of Horace Joy Turner and Alverna Abel Turner.
Lynn graduated from Logan High School in 1959. He joined the United States Army Reserves, and was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. He served until honorably discharged June 9, 1964.
Lynn married Kathryn Marble Turner in 1968 in Collinston, Utah. Together they made their home in Wellsville, Utah. They raised many beloved pets including cats, dogs, birds, rabbits and horses. They both enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Lynn also participated in Cutter races with his horses and won many awards. Lynn had a myriad of hobbies and collected many things related to his interests.
Following in his father Horace’s footsteps Lynn was a mechanic. He worked many hours alongside his dad at Turner’s Service.
Lynn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survived by brother Joseph Kevin (Kit) Turner, sister Vicki Jo Roberts, his special dog Tiny and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death are his spouse, Kathryn Marble Turner, parents Horace Joy and Alverna Abel Turner.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Celeste Russell, Holly Pickup and Rachel Hulme who helped and supported Lynn for many years with love and friendship. They would also like to thank Cache Valley Mortuary and the many hospice nurses including Beckah who cared for Lynn.
Lynn chose to be cremated and his remains will be interned along with his wife Kathryn and their beloved dog Tiny.
