Arlene A. Dahle

August 24, 1928 — May 22, 2018

Arlene Andreasen Dahle peacefully passed away the afternoon of May 22, 2018. She was born August 24, 1928 in Trenton, Utah to Myrtle Ivy Andreasen and Peter Aaron Andreasen. She was the eleventh of thirteen children.
Mom lived, played and was educated in Trenton. She married Wayne Sparks Dahle. Together they have five children, losing a baby girl at birth. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.
While growing up in Trenton, Mom worked in the fields thinning, hoeing, and harvesting beets. She also worked at the Turkey plant in Trenton. She also worked for the California Packing Co. in Smithfield, the Sunshine Terrace in Logan and her last job was as a baker at the Bluebird Restaurant in Logan.
Mother’s greatest joy was being with and caring for her family. She had a talent for cooking, baking and making homemade candies. Her family and friends were always the recipients of her crocheted gifts and goodies. You would hear her singing and yodeling while doing the things that she loved. All through her life she enjoyed giving to others. Even when she could no longer make the treats she still made sure anyone who left her apartment left with candy from the candy dish.
Mom was an active member of the LDS Church. She was a loving and caring person to everyone and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Ivy (Keith) Hemming of Clearfield, Utah, Sherryil Liechty of Hyrum, Utah, Brenda (Kevin) Howard of Hyrum, Utah and DuWayne (Wendy) Dahle of Boise, Idaho. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, infant daughter, parents, twelve siblings and one infant grandson (Michael Hemming)
Goodbye for now Mom. Thank you for all the love, special times, and laughs together. Fly high beautiful lady.
